making it in music is never easy. well, the music part comes naturally, but the “making it” sure doesn’t. here in philly, we’re flush with talent, yet the the national recognition isn’t where it should be. we have some break out moments every few years, but mostly we exist in our own bubble. it’s a special bubble though, filled with incredible artistry, generous community, and a house show scene like no other. 

while part of us loves keeping it our own little secret, a bigger part believes our artists deserve greater recognition and “success”—whatever that means to them. we also know they could really use some help getting there.
